Exciting Growth: Nationwide IMPACT News

The vision of seeing IMPACT Players expand nationwide is taking place as we are excited to announce new IMPACT Chapters launching this Spring in Charleston, Phoenix, and Dallas. In this IMPACT Players National quarterly update, we are featuring the growth taking place across the country as more men are stepping up to grow as husbands, fathers, and leaders. Here are a few of the highlights we would like to share with you -

Seattle-Eastside: Our flagship chapter continues to grow under the leadership of Gary Shavey as hundreds of men are being reached through the monthly IMPACT Breakfast and over a dozen cohorts stretching from Bothell to Tacoma and Mercer Island to Carnation. Coach Matt and Gary continue to set the bar for all of our other IMPACT Players Chapters!
Everett: Under the leadership of Randy Karr and Don Wolfe, more and more men from Everett and Snohomish county are gathering monthly at the Muse Whiskey & Coffee Bar for authentic sharing and deep camaraderie. The guys are going through the Honest Talk Cohort at The Milk House Coffee Co. on Wednesday mornings. This Friday, March 21st, they will have a powerful IMPACT Talk from Jeff Fisher titled - From Felonies To Faithfulness.
Charleston: We have launched 2 cohorts meeting in my new town of Summerville (right outside of Charleston) and we are excited to announce our first IMPACT Breakfast Gathering will be on Saturday, March 3rd at Stone's Throw Brewing in Goose Creek. I got a chance to meet with our first speaker, former All American and NFL QB Vad Lee, and he is definitely an IMPACT Player! Vad is the author of the book "Purpose Over Position" and he will be speaking on that subject to our men in May!
Phoenix: Brian Burman and Xavier Watkins will be launching our first Phoenix cohort beginning Tuesday, March 18th at 7am. The guys will be going through the cohort study The Seven Seas of Manhood. Our first Phoenix IMPACT Breakfast Gathering will be on April 24th at 7am at the Haymaker's on Thunderbird Rd in Peoria! We will be announcing our speaker soon!
Dallas: IMPACT Player Tom Lyman recently moved to the Dallas area and he is leading the charge to launch a new chapter in the DFW Metroplex!

Our first DFW Cohort will meet on Tuesdays at 6:30am at the Honey Berry Cafe beginning March 25th! We are working to determine the official date for our first IMPACT Breakfast in Dallas.
Nationwide: We currently host two online cohorts serving men from New York to California. Once a month we host a Roundtable for Men's Ministry leaders nationwide. Our blog, podcast, and social media presence continue to grow as we influence men to become better husbands, fathers, and leaders across the country.

We also just concluded our 3rd Annual IMPACT Players Ski Trip to Whistler. Interested in joining us in 2026 in Whistler or Vail? Send me an email!

None of this is possible without leaders, connectors, supporters, and prayer warriors like you stepping up to help us grow IMPACT Players into something only God could build. Do you want to be a part of this moveMENt that God is doing nationwide? Here are 4 Ways You Can Make An IMPACT:

Be a LEADER: Our Everett, Phoenix, and Dallas Chapters are taking off because of amazing volunteer leaders who believe in the mission. Why not you? Why not your city or community? If you want to see men equipped and encouraged to be the chief disciple-makers in their home, workplace and church, email me to start a conversation.
Be a CONNECTOR: Do you know men in any of the cities we are launching/reaching right now? Help us get connected to them by inviting them to one of our cohorts or breakfast gatherings or, do a personal introduction with me or one of our local leaders. We have no better growth strategy than word of mouth and personal referrals. Do you know of a church that might be interested in using our IMPACT Players Cohort studies for their men's ministry? Send them our way!
Be a SUPPORTER: Give financially to one of our chapter locations, or to the national work by visiting www.impactplayers.org/give. We have created a "Chapter Start Up Kit" that will provide a new location with the banners, promotional materials and legal documentation to start up in another state. You can launch a chapter for only $1000!
Be a PRAYER WARRIOR: The battle for men, marriages, and family continues to rage on. Suicide, isolation, sexual addiction, divorce, gender confusion and many other cultural and spiritual issues pose a constant threat to our men and the ministry of IMPACT Players. Pray for us daily as we know that we are seeing men's lives transformed and the Enemy of God's people detests the work we are doing.

On a personal note, I am grateful for all that God has done to bring us this far over the past 15 months since we announced our intention to take IMPACT Players nationwide and move to Charleston to start a new chapter on the East Coast. Leah and I are convinced that we are exactly where God wants us, and the fruit of His faithfulness is evident.

I am so pleased to share that we are finally getting our IMPACT Players Cohort Curriculum available for print through Amazon. We are working to get most of our edited cohort studies on Amazon Kindle and in print within the next few months.

Finally, I want to say a very heartfelt "Thank You" for Katie Cole, our National Director of Administration and Graphic Design. Katie is a full time Mom and part time team member with IMPACT Players and her impact on everything we do is incalculable. I like to say that "Katie makes IMPACT Players look good and run smoothly." When you support the IMPACT Players Nationwide effort, you are not only supporting me and my family, but also Katie and her family as well.
