I have sat with many men, who for many reasons do NOT take initiative in their lives. And their families, co-workers, neighbors and social media friends take the brunt of their lack of initiative. Grown men, who don’t cross the line into initiative-territory...
There are many reasons why they stay away from taking initiative:
- Fear of failure
- Shame
- Having failures in their past
- Being unsure where to start
- Being unsure of where to ultimate end up
Enter Impact Players! I have seen the men in our church take the initiative to meet together and start to disassemble fear, shame and failures. IP gives a safe place for men to meet and work these things out with other men who are also working it out. When I was hired on, our church already had IP in the DNA of our men and I have personally seen growth of seasoned believers as well as new believers and non-Christians being led to Jesus.
Warren’s studies are easy-to-use, Christ-centered and relevant to where men are. I am personally very thankful for IP and the effect that they have had on our church.
