Great Power Great Responsibility Spider Man

"With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility.” - Uncle Ben (Spider-Man) 🕷️

If you are a Christian man, you have been entrusted with great power.

💥 You have the power of the Gospel, which can save everyone and anyone who believes. (Romans 1:16)

💥 You have the power of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 1:8)

💥 You have the power of Christ in you. (Colossians 1:29)

💥 You have the power to lead your marriage and family. (Ephesians 5:21-25)

💥 You have the power to rule and reign over the earth. (Genesis 1:28)

Yet, with great power comes great responsibility.

💥 You are responsible to walk in holiness, not hypocrisy (1 Peter 1:15–16; Romans 12:1–2)

💥 You are responsible to use your strength to serve, not dominate (Mark 10:42–45; Galatians 5:13)

💥 You are responsible to love sacrificially, not selfishly (Ephesians 5:25; 1 John 3:16)

💥 You are responsible to protect what God has entrusted to you, not neglect it (1 Timothy 5:8; Proverbs 4:23)

💥 You are responsible to advance God’s Kingdom, not your own comfort (Matthew 6:33; Matthew 28:18–20)

For every Christian man reading this, take heed-

God has not called you to abdicate or abuse your power, but abide in Christ and abound in grace and good works. (2 Corinthians 9:8)

When you steward the power that God has entrusted to you with great responsibility, you will be entrusted with even greater power. (Matthew 25:23)

What are you doing with your power?
