Former star USC Gamecock QB Connor Shaw nearly died on a football field a few months ago. Throughout his playing career Shaw was known as a leader who was all heart on the field. Over the years, Shaw has experienced leadership under pressure, both on the field and in life. Through success, adversity, and a life changing health emergency, his perspective on preparation and purpose has deepened.
At this breakfast, Connor will share what it means to lead with clarity, act with integrity, and stay ready for moments that truly matter. He will challenge men to think carefully about how they prepare, how they respond when pressure rises, and how their daily choices shape their families and their future.

About Connor Shaw
As a former University of South Carolina and NFL quarterback, Connor Shaw learned the value of preparation, leadership, teamwork, and resilience—lessons that continue to shape his work today.
He is the winningest quarterback in University of South Carolina history, a 2021 USC Hall of Fame inductee, and a 2025 SEC Legends inductee. After football, Connor began his career as a health & wellbeing consultant, partnering with organizations to build healthier, more prepared teams.
Now a husband and father of four, Connor’s perspective on preparation has taken on deeper meaning. After surviving sudden cardiac arrest, he launched HRTHUDL (Heart Huddle), a nonprofit dedicated to equipping communities to respond to cardiac emergencies.
His story encourages and challenges people to faithfully use their gifts, lead with integrity, and live on purpose—at work, at home, and in moments that can change lives.
